| The 1st Annual World Congress of Industrial Biotechnology-2008 was held in Hangzhou, China from 18th to 21st of May at New Century Grand Hotel.
More than 400 participants of 36 different countries from all over the world attended the conference. The event focused on White Biotechnology with eight splendid tracks.

Daniel Boergel (Project Manager, BIOMIN Research Center) attended the conference and presented a poster on “Biotransformation and microbial degradation – strategies for detoxifying mycotoxins in animal feeds”.
The 1st Annual World Congress of Industrial Biotechnology-2008 was a remarkable event on the topic of White Biotechnology with an interesting mixture of attendees from universities and companies. Though it has been the first event of its sort a large variety of interesting topics were discussed. Next year’s event will take place in Seoul, South Korea. |
