Sixth Annual World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology & Bioprocessing

The Palais des congrès de Montréal was this year’s place for the Sixth Annual World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology & Bioprocessing.

The subtitle of the conference “linking biotechnology, chemistry & agriculture to create new value chains” underlines the main goal of the conference: networking. More than 1.000 participants from companies, universities and research institutes from a large variety of research fields came together to discuss the following topics:

More than 22 CEOs of industrial biotechnology companies presented their companies’ technology and business plans.

Additionally, a new one on one business partnering service was provided. Meetings were scheduled web based before the conference. Meetings were then held in private meeting areas to discuss potential partnering.
